This type of housing is somewhat of a tradition on the German market. The Catalyst is screwed between two flange rings and a special manufactured head in front of the actual exhaust silencer or rather the waste-gas heat exchanger.
This fixing between two flanges does not allow any slip of the exhaust gas. The Catalyst Matrix can be delivered in every diameter and in the standard depths of 90, 120, and 150 mm. Other depths are available on request.
To install or remove the catalyst during maintenance work or in order to exchange the catalyst, simply detach the flange-connection.
For the sake of providing spare delivery we still keep this Housing version in our program. However, other types of Housing definitely have more advantages.
