This type of Housing is similar to the Between-Flange-Housing, a tradition on the German market and has been used a lot by MAN and Jenbacher.
The catalyst is directly fitting into the exhaust silencer housing or heat exchanger and is mounted on the inner floor. A radial Manhole or an axial cap permits the installation and reinstallation of the Catalyst. This fixation does not allow any slip of the exhaust gas therefore this version is appropriate for all types, especially for the 3-way-Catalyst.
The Catalyst Matrix can be delivered in every diameter and in the standard depths of 90, 120, and 150 mm. Other sizes are available on request. No further housing or insulation is needed.
For the sake of providing spare delivery we still keep this Housing version in our program. However, other types of housing definitely have more advantages.
