Particle-Oxidation-Catalyst
We also offer Oxidation Catalysts (POC) in combination with Diesel-oxidation-catalyst (DOC) for the reduction of particles. The application of Catalyst-materials not only leads to a reduction of gaseous-harmful-substances such as carbon monoxide (CO), Carbon Hydride (HC), formaldehyde (HCHO) but also of carbonate particles (PM).
Following reaction takes place:
C + O₂ → CO₂
We offer different types of housing, but it must be taken in consideration that Diesel and particle oxidation catalysts (DOC + POC) are inserted in direct succession. This combination can be inserted into a gas pipe or into a head of a silencer.
For quick maintenance (cleaning, replacement, etc.) the housing should slide- in designed to allow easy removal of the catalyst. To this end, a slide- in housing is installed into the pipe system or integrated into a heat exchanger head. The inspection-opening is insulated to allow easy access and problem-free removal of the catalysts. Thereby the plant has shorter non-operation periods.
At a comparatively moderate rise of the pressure drop, particles (PM) can be reduced by 60% with the help of Diesel-oxidation-catalysts.
