Smaller base-frame-tanks in combination with acoustic hoods create a unit during the enclosure of mobile aggregates. In case of the application of mobile aggregates, a fuel tank is integrated in the actual base-frame.
For large stationary engines the tanks in the engine-base frame are also used for expanding the useable lube oil-supply of the engine and offer the benefit of longer intervals between oil changes.
