Catalysts

Catalyst are used to reduce emmissions of engines powered with natural-gas, sewage-gas, bio-gas and diesel engines up to 3000 KW.

For Oxidation- and 3–Way–Catalysts metal substrate is used. Since this material has a wall thickness of only 0,05 - 0,07 mm it allows very low pressure drop and at the same time very high mechanical strength. Further advantages are a low start up temperature, an excellent heat conductivity, a good resistance to fouling and a high degree of reducing emissions (more then 98% if required) with only little catalyst volume.

Due to a special process ceramic subsrates are prefered to be used as SCR–Catalysts for reduction of NOx at diesel and gas engines.
