Exhaust Heat Exchanger with heat recovery
Do you use your waste heat sensibly? Heat exchangers are used to increase the efficiency of stationary industrial engines through heat recovery. Co-generation and industrial power plants are increasingly being operated with exhaust gas heat exchangers. Energy is extracted from the hot exhaust gases of the engines and transferred to a secondary medium.
A secondary medium is usually water, a water-glycol mixture or thermal oil. Thus, the energy that would otherwise be lost as waste heat can be efficiently used again.
Typical applications include local and district heating, absorption-type refrigeration sytems and other industrial applications.
